INTERIOR DESIGNER
Janet Armstrong, is the owner and principal designer of Simply Swank Décor. Janet is a graduate of the Interior Design Institute and Certified Aging in Place Specialist currently serving as the national chair of the Decorator and Designer Association of Canada and a board member of LivABLE Design.
Janet works with clients who wish to remain in their homes well into the future. While this may seem impossible in the face of changing health, she assesses her client’s homes to identify what modifications are necessary and creates inclusive designs to ensure comfortable, livable, safe and stylish spaces that support the client’s health, wellness and lifestyle while reflecting their taste and personality.
SENIOR REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST
Shari Doherty is a Senior Real Estate Specialist, SRES(R) who felt compelled to attain this additional level of accreditation after working through family transitions with her own parents and recognizing how emotional and sensitive this time can be for families.
It takes a true professional to navigate family dynamics and emotions and ensure all individuals are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve while they navigate family transitions. She has a wide network of resources that will assist at every stage from helping to age proof a home, right size the home, help locate senior living facilities and ultimately wrap up family estates and dispose of assets.
